Iceland…again, camping in the Southern Highlands

Last year I visited Landmannalaugar, Southern Icelandic highlands for one day with Paul. It was a great day but low cloud cover stopped us from taking some of the “classic” views over the multi-coloured mountains. This time I camped out for three days which I hoped would give me enough opportunity with the un-predictable weather. Each day consisted of an early hike, starting at 4-6 am. Then back around 11 am, some lunch, then sleep and another walk in the late afternoon. It never really got dark and I got some shots I was very pleased with. In all this was an amazing experience, albeit hard work.
